TURF Day 3: Band 1: Twin Forks

TURF Day 3 got started with the broad smiles and fun country-fried folk sounds of Twin Forks. If you think that the singer, Chris Carrabba, looks familiar, that's because he's also the singer and creative force behind emo pioneers Dashboard Confessional.

They showed everyone how to have a great time with a tough opening festival timeslot. Amongst their original tunes, they did a cool cover of Talking Heads' "And She Was". Love that song. They also covered The Violent Femmes "Blister in the Sun". Do you think they knew that The Femmes played the day before?
